As we draw closer to the end of 2013, do you prefer to reflect on the year that’s passed, or look forward to the future? I’m hoping for a promising 2014, but appreciate all the love and support I’ve received for my little jewelry endeavor, which started as a casual photo-a-day post. So thank you to all who have trusted me to make something special for you.

One thing I’d like to do more of is travel. I’ve created a piece that reflects my love of travel and adventure. The dear friend who inspired this has logged more miles than I could dream of. I couldn’t begin to list the places she’s visited on one little square. Rio, New York, Savannah, Florida, Germany, Curaçao, and Hawaii are some of the places I had to leave off.
